I was wondering if anyone out there has noticed a big difference after changing out their speakers? I recently added an aftermarket stereo in my 88 VDP and replaced all six speakers and the sound blows my 95 VDP away. I'm not sure if it's because of the additional two speakers that are located below the rear seating on the 88 VDP or the fact that maybe my 95 is still running the factory speakers. I've already installed an aftermarket stereo in my 95 VDP and am wondering if changing out the speakers will make a big difference. Are they 4" speakers like the ones in my 88 VDP? Just looking for some input from those who have changed out their speakers and have noticed a difference.

 

Thinking that your 22 year old speakers are way overdue. I can't imagine there would be be a major difference.

When I replaced speakers a few years back the large paper cone had already distengrated from the tweeter.

I have an XJS, so I'm not sure what size you'll be able to take, but fit the largest size you can.
