Is Dexron II the correct power steering fluid for my '95 XJ6?

 

Please forgive my fat fingered keyboarding - I meant Dexron III

 

Yeah, that's the right stuff, although I've never seens any factual or even anecdotal evidence that the power system knows or cares that Dex III is or isn't being used.

Personally I use Type "FA" auto trans fluid in Jag power steering systems because I have a surplus on hand :-)

I've often wondered if there's any reason to avoid using actual power steering fluid <shrug>

Anyhow, yes, Dex III is correct. Others might chime in on my other remarks.
