97 XJR6 Coolant flush
Is it necessary to separately drain/flush/refill the supercharger intercooler circuit? I know it's shared with regular cooling but not sure how well they really mix and circulate. Since I'm not sure what coolant type I currently have I want to do as complete a replacement as I can - ignoring complications of heater circuit. Plan to drain from lower radiator hose, flush and drain repeatedly with distilled water and then replace coolant as described in some older posts but haven't seen any discussion of intercooler side. Might be overthinking it....
The sub systems coolant thourauly ( sp ) mix
There are a couple of TSBs to get to the final coolant type , and they don't mix from my understanding
The replacement had to do with the heater core / matrix clogging / poor cabin heating ( phosphates buildups / deposits on the heater core )
The coolant circuit can be found on page X , which includes also the SC intercooler and auxiliary cabin heater electric coolant pump , just beyond page 51
