Default ABS Pressure Accumulator

Hello all,

I am considering a '95 VDP and am wondering if anyone knows if this MY has the ABS Pressure Accumulator. I know on the '95 XJS it was eliminated midway through the MY. Was the X300 fitted with this system at all? Was it changed midway through MY? If so, does anyone know at what VIN it was changed?

Thanks!

There is no Accumulator on the X300 ABS system.

Here are some resources on your question linked below . There is a large file on the X300 shop manual JTIS that I have never been able to open up that I'm sure covers your question . Otherwise here is another link to the smaller file titled XJ6 - XJ12 Vehicle Service Manual on page 222 of 521 section on brakes which may or may not contain the same information . You might respectfully start a new topic with a title on the issue if any with your brakes and someone will come along . Is the pedal bleeding off ?

No, it's a conventional booster.
