Default Aftermarket stereo fitment to Harman Kardon system

Hi all

Just wondering if the Harman Kardon system has the same Jaguar>ISO connector as the standard systems? The lead I intend to buy on eBay says -

'Please note this lead is for the NON-AMPLIFIED systems on these vehicles only. If you are having trouble identifying this, please contact your local dealer.'

(it's eBay item number 150847265021)

Many thanks

Dave

No I don't believe a standard ISO connector harness will work.

You can easily fit a modern head unit to work with the existing HK amp. You will need to wire or splice the pre-amp outputs, signal ground and shield to a 6 way DIN plug or the DIN plug wires to the harness. Unless of course your harness already has that configuration.

Well, you were certainly right! Looks like too much hard work to me, think i'll save the stereo for another car and keep this standard. Cheers anyway.
