Hey all!

The automatic trunk release still doesn't work, even after I put in a new microswitch. Interior trunk lights still don't go on either, btw. I also tried disconnecting the valet switch wire just to see if it had an effect. Any suggestions?

 

check the wiring to the trunk .. on the hinge they can get cut after many opening and closing

 

Thank you Jag_Genius! Yup, there were two severed wires right near the hinge - I used a few inches of lamp cord to reconnect them since there was barely any slack. Thanks again.
