Does a universal rack exist that would allow me to carry at least 2 or 3 bicycles for family days out?

The car is a 1996 XJR6. I’d just like something that would allow me to safely transport some bikes without buggering up the car’s paintwork!

It's not particularly fun with e-bikes, but a roof rack is an option that shouldn't cost a fortune. Lifting a regular bike up there is no problem, a +20 kg electric bike a bit of a hassle.
