Smile Cleaning the Mass Airflow Sensor

I took my MAF off the clean it with SRC MAF cleaner. All I saw was the tempt sensor. The sensor for the airflow must be hidden in the center thingie. What do you do just spray in the inlet hole and hope for the best? I was hopping you could take it apart like you can on my XK8, but on the X300 it is riveted on.

Any suggestions??

Looked into it before without actually doing it . Would is be without a issue in drilling the pop rivets out and replacing with self tapping screws ?

Being careful to not leave behind any leftover tails to bend the valves as they get sucked through .
