Clicking Noise After Rear Brakes Replaced

Hello,
I'm a new owner of a 1995 VDP and am loving it. It's great to find such a wonderful forum to gather information.
My question is this: I've just replaced the rear rotors and brake pads. Brake lines were bled, but have now noticed a clicking noise coming from the shifter everytime I press on the brakes to get it out of P. As soon as I move the lever over (even before moving it to R) the noise disappears. It's pretty loud and you can feel it on the shifter as well. I'm pretty sure I didn't let any air into the lines as the brakes feel ok when I drive.
Any answers or insight would be great.
Thanks,
Akira

Hi
Im pretty sure itsthe brake lightswitch under the brake pedal that also operates the lock that stops you being able to move out of park without the pedal depressed. Has been covered alot on other jag forums but alot of cars do it (even mine). Its not serious just expensive to repair
No-one i have spoken to has had theirs replaced.
Hope this helps
