When locking my doors using the key I know that if I keep the key to the left for a couple of seconds all open windows close.
Does anyone know if it's also possible to achieve this using the remote fob?
When I've tried to discover if I can all I've succeeded in doing is setting off the panic alarm!

With the X300 you can't globally close the car by the hand transmitter. The only global operation you have is the key in the door cylinder, both open and close; and the global close only with the lock button above the radio.

Thanks for that Steve, couldn't find a reference in the handbook myself that's why I was asking. Pity that and somewhat of an omission by Jaguar I think. If a couple of windows aren't fully closed and you've locked the car with the remote it spoils things a little if you then have to insert the key and do it that way. Don't think it would have taken much technical work to add this feature.
