The passenger side electric seat of my 1997 xj6
was always a beat behind..When I would release the switch it would continue for a second or two...never bothered me cause it worked. Now it won't work at all anyway you put the switch nothing. Checked both 20 amp fuses all good...relay possibly? Where is it located and what does it look like.

 

My passenger seat base will only go forward, not backwards. I'm wondering if we have related problems with switches. I'll be watching this post.
