Default Front indicator unit removal process

Hi,

Just taken my '96 XJ6 for it's MOT this morning. They've passed it, but found that the nearside front indicator lens is cracked and letting white light through. Can't see any obvious means of removal in order to put a replacement in. Can anyone offer advice please?

Many thanks.

From the front side the lense slides to one side left wise or right wise( ( cant remember ) then that opposite side lifts or peels out to you

example: slide to left peel out the right

Perfect, thanks. Can't get to the car right now, but I can visualise what you're describing and how it's potentially held in place. Will hopefully get around to it tomorrow.

Many thanks.

Yep, a trim removal tool is the perfect thing to use to prise it out.
