Fuel Instant shows 199 at idle.
Hi all,
Has any one had their instant fuel reading show 199 at idle? This also seems to be putting the other numbers out from other readings.
After coming to an idle it takes maybe 4 or 5 seconds for it to slowly raise up to 199. It seems to be fine while I'm driving.
I don't think its running rich, well, the exhaust certainly doesn't smell as rich as my Series 3 :P
Maybe a sensor somewhere is not working so well.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Harry

Ahhhhh so the read out is how many km per litre I'm getting.
Well if that's the case then mystery sloved. Seems counter intuitive.
I always thought it was litres per 100km? Which is what L/100km would mean?

Yes, the fuel economy quoted on the trip computer in metric is litres per 100 km.
No, it's how many litres will be consumed in 100KM of driving. If you're not moving and the engine is idling, the number of litres is actually infinite- but the car display maxes out at 199.
