I have a lot of work upcoming with doing a full swap, taking every suspension and drivetrain and interior part from a crashed 96 XJR and putting it all into my 96 XJ6. I have read up about the getrag 5spd the never made it to north america and am extremely interested in possibly making my car a manual shift. Is there a beter 5 or possibly 6 speed that will fit or is the getrag my only option? Also I would like to keep this looking as from the factory as possible.. I am assuming i will need to shorten my driveshaft or buy one.. and get a flywheel as well.. Where can i find these parts and can i use any type of clutch system or should i order it from the dealer and or find the used parts from the UK?
