I have a 1995 jaguar vanden plas. I was looking into getting a lower grill from mina for it. I looked on ebay just to see if there were any deals and found a lower and upper mesh grill combo for $160 ($250 from mina) however i found that it was for the 98-03 xj8. The grills look identical. would this grill work on my vanden plas?

The X308 grilles are smaller and more rounded than the X300. The top inserts are not compatible, unless you change the grille surround too (X300 looks nicer anyway), and I'm not sure about the lower (bumper) grille...

You have to find one that is specific to the X300.

Make sure you give us some good pictures if you do get the lower, I have yet to see any.

I just bought the uppers from Mina. They're in the mail ATM.

 

I believe they sell them for the Xj6's on eBay in addition to the 8's. Most of the bottom grilles don't look too good, so make sure you get one that looks like it fits.
