I wondered if anyone had ever upgraded the headlamp bulbs in their XJ6? I'm considering OSRAM Nightbreakers or Phillips X-treme Vision - any thoughts? I'm looking for increased performance at both dipped and mainbeam. But I'm not concerned with that "chavvy" blue look!

 

I got some of Halfords' own-brand "Ultra-brilliant" (or whatever, their top rated ones anyway). They give a crisp white light without looking like they are from a bodykit-equipped Corsa.

 

I have HID's from here. I also used their stuff on my Audi S4. Unreal warranty and cheap pricing. It's that good and it's true. I think I did 5000K or 6000K. Here's a pic

Install is pretty simple. You have to flip the connectors sometimes as they aren't polarized? Or are? I don't fully get that part, but point being if you plug in and it doesn't work, no worries, flip the connector.
