Default Help identifying this XJ6 Part

This is located on the passenger side of my 1997 Base just behind the Power Steering Reservoir and has two plugs?

Well, I kept reading and see that this is for the traction control which I do not have.

I also have these extra two plugs on my base-model Daimler 6 . It also doesn't have traction control. So I think that you are right

Yes me too, I zip tied it up under the ABS unit to keep it out of the way.

I wonder if there is any harm in just clipping the wires and doing away with them altogether? It seems kind of shoddy to have wires and plugs for an option you don't have and cant get just taped together and lying there. The tape was old and brittle so I assume it is factory.

If you consider the number of options available, it quickly becomes obvious that Jaguar, nor any other manufacturer, would carry unique wiring looms to match each option. Thus the unused terminals! Cutting through the wiring runs the risk of causing a short circuit! Do not do it - tape it/them up.

Yea, I realized that was not a good idea. stuffed them under the ABS as another poster suggested and they are effectively out of sight, if not gone. Now, on to other things!
