With it getting chillier, I used -or should I say tried to use- my defroster but got no flow. (at 50+ I have run into the no flow problem before !) Blower motor is fine, face & foot vents flow & switch freely. The CCS Self Test gives me codes 24 & 44 so I definitely want to get to the defrost flap area.

How??

Is there an easy way to get the console / dash stuff out of the way? Also, my facia vents need help but I don't know how to release the unit. I know there's a special tool, but can the center vent be removed without purchasing the tool?
