Default To high rpm in N & P

Hallo !

Today i fitted my rebuild Supercharger and lower pulley and new oxygen sensors ( orig ). I also cleaned the Tb and installed a new bypassvalve and the underpreassure component. Also new sparkplugs installed.
But i have now the same high rpm in Parking and neutral gear as before. 1400-1500rpm. When i shift in drive then i have got about 800rpm. Anyone knows the reason for that problem ?

Sounds like your Idle air control valve (IACV) needs to be calibrated. Did you remove it frm the throttle body and make sure it's clean? I've also read somewhere that sometimes the pin doesn't center itself correctly when it closes which would cause high rpm at idle

The pin is part of the IACV. The stepper motor controls the pin to determine how much are is allowed to bypass the throttle butterfly to keep a steady idle

So i drove the car now for 2 days it runs perfect but the high rpms in P & N sucks !
I need new brakes when the mechanic cant solve the Problem. I told him about the IACV and he told me he will clean it and adjust it . I hope it helps.

Have your EGR service or replace, there is a recall on that part, that is one of the major part that controls the RPM too.
