Default How to identify an AJ16S/C cylinder head and cams

Hi,
I have been offered an AJ16 cylinder head, which is meant to be the Supercharged version. It is complete with valves etc, but I cannot see any stamped part number anywhere??
Not fitted but with the head are 2 cams, one marked EBC11028 and one EBC11029? Are these for the 4.0 AJ16 S/C engine?

Not sure these are correct?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

The cams are not marked as after machining cam profiles but of the blank forging number if I recall located up front

The cams are here , hit + icon to scroll to supercharged

Genuine Inlet/exhaust Valves-3.2/4.0 Litre (less 6.0 Litre) For Jaguar Xj 1995 - 1997 (from 720125 To 812255) (x300) Classic | Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts

And the heads are here

Genuine Cylinder Head Less Valves-3.2/4.0 Litre (less 6.0 Litre) For Jaguar Xj 1995 - 1997 (from 720125 To 812255) (x300) Classic | Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts

See if you come up with the same head part # as your original post part #s do not for supercharged ( cam blank forging ? )

Hi Parker 7,
Thanks for the links. The 2 cams have the same basic casting part number cast into the body of the camshaft, but physically stamped into the flanged end (sprocket drive end) the part numbers EBC11028 and EBC11029. These do not align with the S/C cam, but they are not recognised at all in the Jaguarlandroverclassic web site which is odd? I have now sent in an enquiry to them but don’t expect any answer on this one.
There is, in blue inspection paint, S/C written on the head casting and both cams have the same blue paint as a band near the drive flange, but no other numbers or identification??

There are 2 separate cam pairs with different profiles ( valve timing overlap angle between the intake and exhaust valves ) in X300 normally aspirated production

As far as I know only 1 pair for the supercharged as was not affected in the TSB problem to resolve ( rough idle )

The profiles / curves / aggressive lift extent may be the same between the 3 pairs ( ? ) just different timing chain as gear position on the cam mounting to get valve timing overlap angle between intake and exhaust

3.2 liter cams is a different question ( ? )

03.1-05

Mystery #s ? that is the extent of my knowledge base on the cams
