How to repair an AJ9500R
When I first got my car, the radio came separate and it had an ISO cage and harness fitted. I put the original radio back and it would accept the code for the first day or two (yes I was entering it correctly). Then, after a couple of days of being in the car, it accepted the code and was fine.
We replaced the battery recently and this time it took a few days for the code to be accepted. Then it was fine.
The other day I got in the car and while the radio powered up OK and gave every impression of working (I could adjust the bass, treble, faders, radio station, TA mode, etc) there was absolutely no sound audible. I couldn't try the tape deck as I haven't got any tapes. I tried the radio again on the journey home and still no audio.
I have no problem stripping the radio and replacing components, but can anyone give me any pointers as to what is likely to have failed? Popped caps? Blown FETs?

Welcome to the forum Roy,
If you go to New Member Area - Intro a MUST and tell us a little about yourself (where in the World you are) and your vehicle (Model and Year), there's a very good chance of getting advice.
