Default HVAC control panel is loose

My HVAC control panel above the ski slope is loose so it falls back an inch or two until it stop against some structure behind it. The radio and clock modules are secure, however, so it's just the HVAC controls unit that's loose. I figure maybe the two top bolts have come loose.

Can somebody describe the easiest way to re-fasten the unit?

It's screwed (from behind) onto the same frame that holds the radio and clock.

Somewhere in one of the "sticky" threads at the top of this section is a good write-up on radio removal. Follow those instructions and you'll be 98% on your way to reattaching your climate control panel :-)

Cheers
DD

Good luck, what usually happens is that the little mounting bosses for the screws fatigue and break off and the clock, HVAC controls or both fall out. Just happened to me (clock) and I bought a new support at $85.00.

Where did you buy the new support bracket?
