I have a 1996 XJ6 my drivers side low beam headlight is not working.........I replaced the bulb with a new one. ........I have checked the fuses and they are good.........I switched the bulb from the passenger side also still no luck..........does anyone know what the cause could be?

 

Probably a bad earth at the headlight unit. Check that the metal where the bulb holder attaches to the headlight casing is earthed.
