New here looking at a '96 XJ6 and have questions
I'm looking at a '96 jaguar XJ6 with the 4.0 engine and 85,000 miles on it. I know this is a higher mileage vehicle but are there any specific issues to look out for in these jags? Is there a way to check this cars mainbrace history with a jaguar dealer if I get its VIN number? Its a really nice car and I've always liked jaguars,I've always owned Cadillacs and want to try out something different. So are the '96 Jaguars any better than the previous ones as far reliability goes?

That depends on what a mainbrace is. Assuming it has nothing to do with an anatomical implant....
That's low mileage for an XJ6, when considered against the long life and reliability of the vehicle. You won't have major problems with it.
