Hi ,
I've started a rehab of a 1996 Jaguar xjr. The antenna mast was broken off from a car wash I was told. (The radio worked however ) After I blew the fuse replacing the unit I get no sound .
The display is fine which I've found unusual from these models .
My x300 xj6 got the same replacement antenna and yes I blew that one's fuse also but had no issues after replacing the radio/trunk release fuse.
Neither of my cars had the storage box fuse directory, I picked up one at athe junk yard today , hopefully they are similar through the x300 series.
I will punch in the security code on the radio in the morning and check all the fuse boxes.
Any there suggestions out there ?

Problem solved, was looking too hard for the issue . Volume know inoperable

 

My spell check doesn't like the word knob , I have to force it to take it , go figure
