I've looked through other posts on the subject, but never found a straight answer.

Will an x308 overhead console fit up, without modification, to my 95 x300? Having a few garage doors, I'm wanting the Homelink capability of the x308 console.

I tried this. I ordered a 308 module and tried to install it. It will plug in but it does not work and messes with the other lights in the car. something is different on the pin-outs. There is no reason it should not work if I could figure which pins when where... has anyone succeeded in doing this yet?

 

There is an updated Homelink module for the X300's that will handle the rolling codes. Except there isn't! What I mean is, Jaguar released a part number and it is posted in here somewhere, I've seen it before. However, I believe they are NLA on the books and I've never seen one pop up on eBay or anywhere else....
