I have tried to program this new OEM key fob over and over with no luck. I know the instructions about rocking the valet switch 5 times with the trunk and drivers door open and the ignition turned to position 2. But my dash does not recognize that my trunk is open.. So I'm guessing if it doesn't recognize that the boot is open, the system won't enter learning mode to program the new fob!! Any idea why the dash wouldn't show that the boot is open when it clearly is? Thanks!

 

'Not answering your question about the car recognizing the the boot (trunk) is open, but when I recently programmed my fobs, it would not work if I opened the boot from the boot lid switch. It only worked when I opened it from the dash switch.
