Exclamation "Rare" 95 XJR for sale (?)

So I saw this ad a couple weeks ago while perusing our Craigslist-like site here in Canada called Kijiji.

Just wondering what is so rare about this 95 XJR that warrants an asking price of $24k. Sure, the km's are low but what else? I hadn't heard of the '400' made per each model year but then again, I still have a lot to learn. Perhaps it's his sound system, he notes it's a Harmon Kardon, maybe it's the only one with a spelling error on all the HK badging? Nah, I'm sure that spelling error was limited to the ad's text.

BTW, I did request via email why it was so rare but never heard back.

Here's the link: (Ontario, Canada)

A gorgeus example and almost certainly worth top dollar but the seller is merely hoping someone will come along, fall in love, and pay the asking price without thinking or researching.

About 6528 XJR/6s were built over 3 model years. One might call them "rare-ish" :-)

Cheers

I have one just like it except for two things the colour and mine is a 1997..

I think Doug is right someone is hoping that the person that come along will pay the price without looking around.. I picked mine up two years ago for $5000.00 which I felt was a tad high BUT the wife liked the colour. Never take the wife with you when your hunting for a car.. NEVER, IT'S A BAD MOVE..lol

If it's truly as nice as it looks I'd gladly pay $8000 or so. Gotta remember, a premium grade repaint on an "average" example is gonna be $5000...plus you have another 50k miles of driving with this one before the troubles start cropping up.

Cheers
