Does anyone know of a manual release for the tilt and telescoping steering wheel and column? I find it hard to believe that somebody would design a power tilt and telescoping system without providing an emergency release system. Thanks, Poor Boy

 

No emergency release on mine...or any other car I've known with power column adjustment.

I presume yours is stuck in an extreme position?

Boy is it!!! The tilt is all the way down and my wife, having put on some extra padding since she went back to school to get her CPA, can't drive it because she can't get her legs under the steering wheel and I being fairly thin can't either! Wait....... she can't drive my Jag......... maybe that's a good thing. Yeah, maybe it is, but I still need to be able to get it fixed.
