My grandmother used to have a 1977 Bonneville. That car only came with one mirror on the driver’s door, because that’s all that was required back then. Since then, she had that car down in Florida and had bought a Camry for use up north. The Camry had two mirrors one on the passenger door. When she went to go drive the Bonneville she mentioned that she never missed having a mirror on the passenger door until she drove her car with one.
The same goes for my 1995 jaguar. I have been driving vehicles for quite some time that have a rear antisway bar. And since I purchased a 1995, Jaguar, that did not have one, I never missed one until I drove a car without one. I tried making a plate, as it was briefly described in a previous post. But that didn’t work out too well. I bought the plate that bolts on to the rear differential. I will enclose the pictures of the process of changing one out. There is also going to be a picture of some rather large shells/bullets Just in case I got frustrated at the car.
A 51/64 drill bit was used to make the bracket fit over the ‘95 differential studs.
I never thought something so little would make such a difference in the way the car drives.
Must disassemble partially The hole sizes are different, the new bracket will have to be drilled in order to fit on the differential studs It’s Off!

Sway bar installed Even cleaned it up a bit This job done.

Nice work, I too did the job in the car - not impossible but a chore for sure. I topped mine off with an XK sway bar, will bump you from 15mm to 17mm. If you haven't already, the "monostrut" diff brace is a great upgrade too (did that also while it was apart).
I fitted a 20mm diameter rear aftermarket sway bar for an XKR. I designed and sell rose-jointed rear anti-roll bar links to mount rhe XKR sway bar to the lower wishbones and reduce some of the the compliance with the standard metallastic bushes. I aslo sell rose-jointed front anti-roll bar drop links. The whole combinations significantly increases the roll stiffness of the car, without compromising the ride quality.
I bought my 1995 VDP off the original owner in 2001. He said it was a special addition or order (i know nothing about that). Anyway it's not supercharged but came with a rear sway bar, bigger front bar & supposedly HD springs all around, I never checked those & Bilsten replacement shocks. It also has a gold growler on the front grill. It has great handling for a 4dr sdn . Problem is MY age, 80, so the jag has to go.
