Rear view mirror unattached - 97 xj6

The rear view mirror was hanging down unattached this morning. Anyone know whether there is an adhesive to stick it back or do I need to replace it?

Your local AutoZone or O'Reilly's should have an adhesive kit.

The key to making the new adhesive stick for a long time is to be sure the area is almost surgically clean.
