Replacing Headlamp Washer cover

Replacing Headlamp Washer cover
Hello All,
I made the mistake of taking my 1997 VDP through a car wash. It ripped off and destroyed my passenger side headlamp washer unit cover. (The inner assembly is still intact.) Touchless or hand wash from here on in!
Can anyone out there tell me how to replace this unit? I am wondering if I can access the bumper through the reflector unit underneath the spray unit. No screws - does it pop out? Or do I have to remove the bumper?
I have looked through the forum and it seems this is a bigger issue with other models.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Andrew

I have no idea, but am interested in the replies you'll receive as I've been toying with the idea of retrofitting the headlight washers to my 97 XJR and wondered what all was required and how it installed. We didn't get the washers in the USA.
BTW, if your cover is gone, I saw one on eBay just the other day. I don't recall if that was USA, Canada or UK eBay, but it was on there and cheap. So check that out if you need one.

Thanks, gentlemen. Now the looking starts.
From all I have heard, Al, you might be better off without. It seems that many people with them pull the fuse to avoid wasting fluid. I think I will. Perhaps someone should sell an easily installed cap that fits over the holes. (And doesn't require bumper removal in order to replace the part!)
Having said that, I can't bear to look at Queenie's imperfection.

I dismantled a x305 this week, and also took the power washers. I am about to install this upgrade too on my car.
It was a fairly easy job taking off the bumper, be really carefull when you take it off since the mounting points can be broken, and you can also easily destroy the paint work.
When you are taking of the stainless steel trims, maybe its wise to use some lube near the edges to remove them safely. They can be stuck and you dont want to bend them!
Remove the 2 connectors, remove the 2 bolts up front and you should be able to just slide the bumper out.
Side note: I made a call to the Jaguar dealer this week because i want to replace one of the bushings from the power washer. The bushings come with the power washers as one unit so you can not order them seperately . But the guy on the telephone told me he could still order them for 125 Euro.
