Default Roof lining Loose!

I just brought a Jaguar XJ6 4.0 and the headlining is hanging. I'm trying to find someone that can fix it local to me. I'm in East London and Near the Essex Border where the M11 starts in South Woodford. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The car is mint its just the headliner lets it down.

If you are a cheapskate like me then you could get some thin wooden molding and wedge across the width of the car to bend and hold up the lining. Stained a suitable colour it's better than OK.

A contributor in a previous post suggested using upholstery screws as an interim measure. These are the things with the clear plastic heads and the corkscrew threads. I used them and found them to be a great temporary solution before having my headliner professionally re-done.
You can re-cover your headliner yourself if you so inclined, just be sure to use good quality glue. There are good threads in this forum to help you out.

I too have used the upholstery screws although the ones I got had screws that are too long and need some fettling. They were like these

Amazon.com: The Hillman Group 122264 Upholstery Twist Pins: Home Improvement Amazon.com: The Hillman Group 122264 Upholstery Twist Pins: Home Improvement

About 3 ukp for 30 as I recall.

I saw a thread somewhere that the guy had used upholstery buttons covered in fabric, cant say I liked it but it was effective, I too have the twist pins as a temp solution, cheap but it works.

the very reason why those roof lining falls off was due to the inner foam deteriorating, there is no other way around it but to take it out and re install new material.
