The seat memory
So, my seat memory is broken (it goes back when I take my keys out, but not forward when I insert my keys in the ignition). It's been broken, but I want to know how to/how much it would be to fix it. Is it the black box under the seat that controls the memory?
Hi. The main problem of the seat memory lies in the seat potentiometer. If you have them fixed at a dealer you will need a bunch of money, for they replace all the potentiometers for the new ones. There are 5 potentiometers in one seat, each costs about 300 bucks...
The potentiometers are made of plastic, so they are easily broken. If you change them with the new ones soon they will be out of order. You can fix them with glue, but you will need to check the voltage from them and adjust their positions.
