Default Should I change the colour of my spare Asteroid wheels?

I am in the fortunate position of having two sets of X308 Asteroids as well as the original 17” XJR Sport wheels. I have a secondhand set of Asteroids on my car, which are quite a light silver colour when clean, and I quite like them when they get to a certain level of brake-dust-dirtiness which is a sort of gunmetal - it suits the navy colour of my car better.

I have have a new set of Asteroids in boxes from sbwheels.co.uk which have never been on a car. I have always hoped to get an XJS and fit them on that. However I’m now thinking I should get them sprayed a light gunmetal and just use them. The flip side is I “ruin” some mint genuine Jaguar wheels...

opinions?

Just dip them....not permanent. Peels off like a film.

Lots of colors.
