Default Small lights on front fenders

So, I've got a set of those motif emblem profile leaper badges that go on the American X308's, and I'm wondering if I want to put them in place of the light covers.

Two questions: How bad would it be that I am decreasing my car's turn signals, and how would it be to have Xj8 stuff on my Xj6? Okay, third question, but more like 2.5, to remove the light covers, a simple flat head screwdriver and some light prying?

I think those repeater lights serve a useful purpose. I'd leave ;em in place. Just IMHO

The best way to remove them is from behind the fender....no risk of damaging the paint. It's just a couple of squeeze tabs that hold the lamp in place. For access remove the plastic inner fender lining....only takes a minute. It's just held in with plastic push-pins. Actually you don't have to remove it....just remove a few of the pins and shift it out of the way.

Cheers

On the X308, the badges(US) or lights(UK) are removed by pushing up or down to squeeze the clips on one edge and pulling out the other side.

If you don't want the lights ... please let me know.
