Default SPORT MODE stalled my car

The transmission has been shifting flawlessly until friday when I got curious about the sport mode button. Driving down the road I flipped the switch to sport mode, then when sitting at the next light the car died. I started the car back up, but now had a transmission light on and it appeared to be driving in limp mode? When I got home I turned sport mode off & restarted the car. The light transmission light went off & I have had zero problems since. Did I do something wrong? Or does anyone have any clue what I need to do?

You can switch on Sport Mode when driving your car and that should not cause any problem . I also asked this question and got a positive response for that .
If it happens again I think there is solenoid problem (happened once at me and solenoid was changed )

Did you rev the engine in neutral while you were at that stop sign? I've made that mistake a couple times. Hoping to make a speedy getaway I would look down to realize i was in limp home mode. Always happens.
