For the XK8/XKR models, you could get the power steering boost greatly reduced by removing a fuse. However, your climate control went completely offline too. I liked it so much with my XKR that I drove it that way for a year. With a small amount of effort, you could make this switchable so you would have low power boost and yet have climate control active.

Any tricks to doing the same with our XJ6 X300 models?
