Default Sunroof Help please.

Howdy.

Few years ago my sunroof guide broke. I bought the original part but never got around to installing it. Its one of the two guides on the side of the sunroof

Do I have to remove the sagging headliner to install the part or is there a trick to go around that part somehow.

Thank You

You don't have to remove the headliner but you do have to drop it a bit to replace that piece. Remove the grab handles for the side you want to replace the part. You'll have to remove the rear quarter trim panel with the reading light (again for the side you want to replace). And the notches that hold the sunvisor curtain upright....then you bend the headliner a bit down, remove a rubber stopper at the end of the slider of the sunroof mechanism. Replace the broken guide piece. Repeat for other side. Assembly is left as an exercise for the reader
