Was digging around at the local salvage yard today and noticed that early 2000's Land Rover Discovery II used a ZF 4HP-24 transmission. Aside from a different bellhousing and tailshaft,does anyone know if these transmissions are interchangeable with the transmission in our X300 models? I noticed they use a seven pin connector on the left side of the transmission just behind the shifter cable connection. Are these interchangeable?
