Default Turn Signal Lense Modification

Has anyone ever bought or found a way to make the orange turn signal lights on the bumper clear? I think it would give the whole front end a nice face lift.

Hmmm in that case, I think I'll have to try it. What did you use to tint it? Could you still see the orange through it?

i used 5% window film, then decided that was terrible, so i opted to use the spray stuff from autozone & it worked pretty well

I've been looking around for a while now and still can't seem to find if any company makes clear turn signals for these cars? If not then I'll smoke them, but I think it would look a lot better clear and there's no way fo turning amber into clear that I know of...

nobody makes clear turn signals for our cars. I don't know why you'd want them anyway...clear turn signals may look ok if you have a black jag...but any other color they'd look cheesy IMO. Clear turn signals are for jap cars. Smoke them or leave them as is

You think it would still look good on a blue Jag? Because that orange on blue is a definite no no.

You have the same car as me...mine is also Kingfisher blue...which I find to be really weird because the color DEFINITELY looks more green...so don't ask me why Jaguar decided to call it blue.

Anyways...my vote would be to go for a light smoke. I don't think clear would look right...but don't go too dark on the smoke otherwise it will contrast too much with the green and look fugly in my opinion. But it's your car, do what you want! Maybe play around with photoshop or a program of the like and try different shadings and see what looks best to you. If you mess up you can prob get some lenses cheap out of a junkyard and try again

I also want to go to clear!

Found this picture on the forums and am trying to locate.

Smoke would be my second choice and may go this route until then.

Thanks sbc! Looks really nice on the black.

Now wondering if the smoke will look any better than the orange on my blue jag. Will have to photshop it like you did

I have thought about having the front turn signal lenses the same color as the rear tail light turn signal lenses, but I can't find parts. Only thing I can come up with is buying a similar vinyl wrap from eBay or online and just DIY.
