Hi,

What is the valet button under the armrest and what does it do?

If you're having your car "valet parked" it is recommended that you flick the valet switch on, then give the parking attendant the Green headed valet key, which will start the car etc, but will not open the boot/trunk. It's just designed to protect any valuables you might have in the boot.
