Unfortunately, as good of car I take of my car it's forming a good amount of rust on the wheel well. There are no holes luckily, just surface rust. Shops quote me at around $1300 to fix it, so I'm going to try and do it myself. I plan on sanding it down to get rid of the rust, then using a fiberglass putty or Bondo to cover it back up and then paint it OEM color again. Any tips or suggestions on how to do this being as though I have never done this before? Thanks.
