Hi, I think originally in the UK the x300 had a larger sized rear number plate, I’ve not got a standard size on there but it’s starting to fade, does anyone have the dimensions of the original size that would have been on there from new? I think it’s definitely taller and maybe a bit wider? Thanks

 

In the UK my rear number plate measure 52X15 centimetres.

 

I believe you are correct, that some fitted a deeper rear plate. Mine has standard plates, so i cant help with dimensions, but I would observe the standard plates, being shallower, tend to make the car look lower and wider, which works for me!
