I am just now in the process of changing the clutch on my Jaguar "cousin", an Aston DB7 i6, manual gearbox.

Just wanted to share with 95-97 XJR owners that although the clutch kit seems to be the same reference, I could only source it from Aston Martin in a pack that included the flywheel. Big invoice I can tell you! I looked at Jaguar specialists with no success at all. The big problem was the pressure plate which seems to be stronger in order to absorb the extra torque. Weird as it may sound, it seems that there are no replacements around for the XJR...

So treat your clutches carefully!!!
