Default 04 xj8

Thinking about buying this 04 xj8 in the description it says it needs a circuit panel fuse board I guess it still starts but they have a wire jumped in the fuse panel does anyone know anything about this or had any experience with this?

Try the x350 forums.

Jumping fuse boxes with a wire is something I'd do to get home or the nearest parts shop in the case of a severe breakdown, in case of emergency only basically. if I'm understanding correctly, that's a red flag for the amount of effort the PO has put into the rest of the car. Regardless, if you're still intent on getting it, bring a mechanic with strong experience with electrical work to inspect...

Yes it is at a auto repair shop at the moment. I had an 01 xjr and loved that car and this one is extremely nice but I'm just trying to see what I would be getting myself into if I buy it.

The engine bay fuse box goes bad in those cars. They have internally built in
micro-relays that goes bad.
