I recently aquired a 1999 XJR 160k, body perfect, inside perfect, black on black ofcourse...thought it was a blown head gasket, probably was, anyways used some sealer, engine ruined, oil and coolant dont mix... now motor barley want to turn over...looking for a motor i guess, or any ideas about a possible conversion to another type of v8, or if a regular v8 with steel sleeves will work...

you cannot easily or legally swap to a different v8 like yesturyear chevy swap, just get a rebuild long block from BPI(site sponsor) is your best bet as recycle engines youre really taking chances,(ok if youre selling it, but not if you want to keep it)
