2000 jaguar xj8 has a flat butt.
Hey guys I'm 22 with an all white xj8. I am currently in the process of LS swapping my car and I hate the look of the stock bumper it just doesn't hand down low enough to match the front and give the car and pintail look. Is their a bumper like the xjr or other that I can bolt on and it has a lower/wider profile or is that a custom job?
No fatter bumpers from the XJR, they are all the same.
After you do the rear bumper, you will find out the sills are the next you want to do....
So it's out with the chainsaw, or a body kit (rare and expensive).

When I was about 22, actually a little younger, I did a body kit on my Capri, but that was back in the 80s when a kid could earn enough at a summer job to pay for the kit AND the professional man-hours of finessing to make it actually fit plus a halfway decent quality paint job for the whole car, not just the panels. The kit was about $500 and the body shop charged $1,600 for bodywork and Imron paint (to save money, I did all the r&r myself of lights, trim, door handles, lock cylinders, etc. and delivered the body shell on a trailer) - probably cost 8 - 10x that today. The last ten years I've seen more cars with front and rear aftermarket body panels that remain unpainted than fully finished. I kind of wonder if that's because these kids order the kits online before ever getting a quote on paint and then realize they can't afford to get them painted, or if it's because they just skip the paint altogether since they know its not going to be three months before they catch it on a parking lot bump stop or destroy it going too fast through the drainage gutters on either side of a crowned intersection. (Ask an old geezer before you modify, you see we've lived and learned - that front air dam wound up costing another $800 to replace and repaint the following summer.)
