Considering 2000 Vanden Plas and 2000 Super 8. Both have VINs ending in F-.

Are these Nikasil free? I have read conflicting info on this. Most say yes but a couple places I have seen people say that although Jaguar doesn't like to admit it, it wasn't till the 2001 model year that they were Nikasil-free.

Suggestions welcome.

 

Mid 2000 Vins were nikasil ending. If you have the choice, get the SuperV8. Much stronger engine and likely not Nikasil.
