I looked at a fairly nice 2002 XJR 100 today with 140k miles. A couple questions:
1) Any thoughts on the cost to redo the falling headliner?
2) Ck Engine light was on. Owner stated it was a P1111 code. My understanding is that the P1111 code is a positive status code, so why would it trigger the CK engine icon to light up?
3) Any idea of the cost of a new windshield?

I had a new headliner installed a few years ago for $200, looked great.

I had a new windshield installed 2 years ago; about $230 —. Also looks great.

Correct - P1111 is a GOOD code. It means the computer has completed and passed the self test. It will certainly not turn on the check engine light.

 

Same here I had a new headliner installed $225 & my windshield(bad road rash) was approximately $250 via Safelite.
